Saw him play this in LA as an encore on Tuesday and it was spot on. I have seen so many bands in the last year and must say they top the list even though I am not a huge fan they are simply brilliant at what they do, definately up there with Oasis in my opinion. Sold out in LA which was great to see they deserve it . How a band like Maroon 5 sells millions of albums in the US and these guys are unknows is sick.

Please dont compare them with Oasis...These guys are actually good! Oasis are just a bunch of wannabe little turds. As for Maroon 5, they are without a doubt the WORST band of all time. If there is a hell and I go there, they will be the headline act.

You're totally right, but don't even mention Maroon 5 in one sentence with the Stereophonics. It's like comparing Britney Spears with Queen. Maroon 5 is Pop with the same instruments. They are good for someone who likes pop music.
By the way... Oasis is good too, not as good as the Stereophonics. But they made them possible. Oasis reinveted British Rock. I can listen to 70% of Oasis but to 100% Stereophonics, everyday all the time.

There's nothing wrong with pop music....there is though something wrong with bad pop music! On the second thought pop is actually great!!!! Dont get me wrong....I like british rock too.
I too like Stereophonics far, far, far more than Oasis.
I also agree with: don't put Stereophonics in the same "sentence" with bl**dy Maroon 5....

i agree totally, i've seen them 7 times and each time has been better than the last, i seen them at carlisle in a warm up gig in july and there was only 2000 people max in a small place and they still put on the same 100% performance they always do, only band i know who sound better live!!
