| Not even close. I was born in Detroit, grew up in Miami, and live in Los Angeles now and can honestly say that Los Angeles' skid row isn't half as bad as some of the ghettos in Detroit. And if you don't believe that then you should visit these other ghettos and see for yourself. |

| well thier are literally tens of thousands of high payin jobs in western canada, they are screamin for workers here....heck they pay close to 15/hr at mcdonalds. Why do they not bring the employable out here. I'm sure a fresh start is all alot of them need. |

| Actually, Most of detroit's residents keep their houses up pretty well. Its the abandoned homes which fall to disrepair. I worked installations for at&t in detroit for a while, and I was always impressed at how nice most of the homes were. As long as they had residents. |

| and ummm, why have the jobs left detroit? Think...no profit for companies to operate there. Why is that? Massive payouts to employees not justified for what they produced as the result of socialist policies. End result: businesses cannot compete and must outsource labor. Socialist policies=economic destruction. Yeah the problem is no jobs, but find the cause for that and then you'll know the core of the issue. |
