hypothetically im saying. obviously, you dont believe you should be shooting at children playing soccer... if they have an ak, well somethings wrong with the world when its a fact u have to take that possibility seriously. what im saying is if u believe america does not belong in iraq, shouldnt u question orders? shouldnt your own moral code count? if u believe your the opressor not the saviour, y cant u question orders?

Honestly the big ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Honestly the big debate in America is when do we leave? If the Iraqi gov. could sustain itself and deal with the insurgents, we would be gone tommorrow. Does anyone ask what weould happen if we left? Just watch Iran or Al Queda take over. Typical. People don't learn from history, cry "Nazi" and "fascist" and dont' have a clue as to what these terms mean.
This is not about ... ( 1 year ago by hockeymonkeys)
This is not about the U.S. troops in Iraq. This is about war everywhere and it has to be stopped. There are simpler ways to settle issues between countries. Death might now be a big part of your life and it might not mean a lot to you, but can u seriously watch this video and honestly say that the death of these innocent people and soldiers are proper and justified? I can't...

aegius: you say the question is when do americans leave, I say americans should've never come into Irak...I think Bush and fellow congress men don't understand the meaning of sovereignty...spreading the freedom all over the world? spreading the fear all over the world would be more accurate.

The iraqi people ... ( 1 year ago by tumbabrazo53)
The iraqi people have been able to sustain themselves since the begginig of times. The US has no reason to interfere with their sovereignity other than oil. Who appointed George Bush as the superhero of "democracy" all around the world? Why don't they bring peace and freedom to the Palestinians instead of financing Israel's genocide.Irak will be a second Vietnam.
Uh, no. Iraq has ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Uh, no. Iraq has been dominated by other civs. since ancient times. Oil? Whenever a war occurs in the ME, oil shortages occur and the prices go up. The US has reasons for being in Iraq: prevent the spread of Iran, stop Al Queda. There is NO genocide of Pals. That's a lie. THere is genocide of Blacks in Sudan, but Lefties don't care about it.
Further, we ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Further, we appointed ourselves to be the superheroes of democracy and liberty via our revolution 200 years ago. You want peace and freedom for the Pals.? How about they stop raising their children to be hate-drunk wackos and would be suicide bombers?
Lefties like you ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Lefties like you don't care about genocide. You don't care about human rights. Genocide means NOTHING to you as really is occurring in Sudan(400,000 dead now. 2 million dead in the 1980's) and Congo(2.5 to 3 million). Of course bigotry from Arabs or Blacks is also okay to you.
I don't think that ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
I don't think that we should have gone into Iraq either, but my question over what would happen if we left isn't being answered. And BTW, 50 million people have been liberated in Afghanistan and Iraq and elections have occurred. So yes, democracy and liberty are being spread. Leftists are fools for believing otherwise.
How many people are ... ( 1 year ago by sickuglyloser)
How many people are being liberated by the over 10 million pounds of Opium that were harvested last season in Afghanistan and the Herion that's made from it? Opium production was nearly eradicated in just 18 months by the Taliban. The trade off between these evils is completely ignored, and that is dishonest.
Okay, let's bring ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Okay, let's bring back the Taliban then and not move toward a free and democratic Afghanistan. Yeah, right. Corruption has occurred, but that is inevitable. So what? Clean it out then.
The record levels ... ( 1 year ago by sickuglyloser)
The record levels of Opium production aren't due to corruption in Afghanistan. They are due to the corrupt system behind the war against the Taliban. If you think nations go to war to help the citizens of other nations while living off sweatshop labour from export processing zones, you're beyond help.
The Afghan war is ... ( 1 year ago by sickuglyloser)
The Afghan war is primarily to get heroin production and the illicit cash flows it provides, back into Wallstreet and secondarily to secure the ground for a major pipeline to the Caspian Bay area. You believe propaganda like it's in style to be an idiot
Any plan for an oil ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Any plan for an oil pipeline through Afghanistan and Pakistan from Kazakhistan was abandoned in 1996. In 1998 the Taliban were paid by the US Congress to get rid of the opium. They didn't do it for moral reasons, and OBL wanted to produce opium to pay for his activities. Still what do you want done about Afghanistan now? Hand it over to the Taliban?
Nations go to war ... ( 1 year ago by Aegius)
Nations go to war mainly in self-defense. The US enterred WWII in response to Japan bombing Pearl Harbor and Hitler declaring war on America. The opium production is due to profiteers in Afghanistan, not in America and if you think that the US gov. can get a grip on drug production in Afghanistan, you're beyond help. The US gov. couldn't do so in Latin America, forget Afghanistan.
You're saying the ... ( 11 months ago by sickuglyloser)
You're saying the US gov't can't do what the Taliban did in just 18 months. Do you ever actually read anything? Try reading the UN reports of Afghan Opium production. And research your own CIA. Note where the Directors of the CIA come from. It might give you a clue as to who is running drugs.
Utter nonsense. ... ( 11 months ago by sickuglyloser)
Utter nonsense. Seeing as nobody is going to read this I'm not about to do the legwork to find the newspaper articles for you. You obviously don't read anyways.

Yes, the Afghan gov. has tenuous control over the provinces. As for the CIA, yeah, I know about the allegations. Nothing ever has been proven.

It reminds me of a French song called "Le Deserteur." I can't imagine the amount of courage that these people have. There are so many parallels between both wars (and most wars to be honest), and this documentary show them in a great way.
