I hate to sound crude, or rude. But I really hope you seeked counciler in your lifetime. Not to be offensive or anything its just that an abusive father, and a mother leaving out of the blue is alot for anyone to handle, let alone a nine year old. Though you're older now, you still might want to seek a counciler. People dont know how much it helps them until they do it. I mean, you may think you're happy and maby accepted what happened. But you wont know until u can talk about it. Sorry btw.

You couldnt be more right. I spent 4 years in a group home and with that came a lot of counseling. I am no longer angry at my parents. My dad has been sober for 30+ years now and is really a funny guy. I've only spoken to my mom a handful of times since she left, so there is a lot for her and I to work out. I THANK YOU for your support and concern.

ardenHK, I totally apologize for having an arguement from this sight, song..whatever..I love this song. I Thank you for it. I am making a video for my son who lost his grandmother and aunt through murder, by his dads brother.
