| Who are you to call what he plays "mistakes"? I've been watching Gilmour play since the 70's and he will play the song the way he wants. The structure of the solo is always the same, but if he choses to throw in minor notes, or Bb7 flats, or whatever, IT'S HIS SOLO! Begone with you! |

David Guilmour is an excelent guitar player, but he does makes some mistakes in this solo...He's not God...he's a Guitar God, and all guitar Gods became Gods by making mistakes... Sure it's his solo, and he can do whatever he wants, but when a note is outside a chord harmony...that's a mistake. |
