This great video for Animal Collective's 'Grass' single was shot by the band's friend, Superhate and edited in Paris in August - September 2005. Making use of negative super 8mm film, the video is composed of some beautifully coloured footage taken at a number of live shows throughout Europe betw
een 2004 - 2005, and interspersed with some of Avey Tare's ink drawings.

i think it's even cooler that you can not like it and not use curse words and tell everyone who "likes" it that they are bufoons. I think the key to animal collective and similar bands is to just isolate the melodies, i mean learn to hear where there are really honest to goodness sing-song melodies, and then the rest becomes sort of decoration on beautiful songs. thanks.

i know what you mean! the first time i heard this song (it was the first time i had ever heard AC), i was honestly scared haha. but it takes a few complete listens to get the melody and the mood of the song. i love it!
