| Will you ever stop comparing Pumpkins and MCR, and all those other emo bands, emo only became a big big thing in late 90's - 2000's, and i know i know, youre obviously a big music genius right? But like, emo used to be a different thing, the definition of emo is different now, and the Smashing Pumpkins, according to todays definition of emo, arent emo. Emo was big in the late '80s, and I know that the SP Aren't emo, I never said they were. I merely said that they paved the way for a lot of today's "Emo" bands.
