What I do know is that this song hit number 1 in over 12 countries and hit the top ten in 20different countries on every continent on Earth except Antarctica. Can you name a Miley Cyrus song that has even come close to that? Haha ofcourse you can't. Miley can't sing, can't act and can't dance, but hey, she IS pretty, I'll give her that.

because if you were 20 u would have heard cyndi lauper's version first and miley's is nothing compared to hers. Miley's is okay but nothing NOTHING can beat the original version. And Cyndi Laupers voice is awesome and does not sound like a weird robot old lady.

Okay this version is a lot better than Miley's cause Cyndi Lauper actually has the voice for this song. Hannah Montanna's voice is not the worst but it is not the best. Cyndi has an amazing voice. I am 16 years old and I really think that the new music these days suck. I am not dissing Miley or anything I just think there are people with better voices out there. Cyndi actually has talent and she probably worked hard. Miley's dad is the one who got her into show business.

Hey it's ok to like one song better than another song.
The only problem comes when people say Miley is a better singer, because that isn't just a matter of opinion. Someone's ability to hit notes and sing with pitch is not opinion, they are facts that can be measured (even with machines). Cyndi is a more talented singer but if someone just likes the
sound of Miley's song better, that's cool.
