When i was putting this together i knew it must have been done a few times before but i wasn't bothered , this is my version and this in my opinion is the record that most describes the sixties in musical terms , taken from my original 1967 45 rpm single vinyl so sorry if the sound quality is not quite right .

crustieswillalwaysru, yeah it was a special time and we thought it would never end. it was a time of high hopes and dreams. we were getting out of the grey post-war years and the world seemed again a place worth living. music helped us out. there was a great number of good singers that sometimes i wished the day would never end such it was the pleasure to listen to peolple like Dylan, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Je Cocker, Jimi Hendrix, The Animals, Elvis, The Doors, Pink Floyd and many others.
