im not trying to prove you wrong or anything. but i actually think richie is a better singer. the background vocals are harder than the leads in most bon jovi songs. and his solo stuff ROCKS. he has a great voice for rock and roll. jon is a better frontman, but i think richie has a better range. sambora truly makes that band

I think that sambora is a more "talented" vocalist, it is highly likely that his voice can cover more octaves. However there are many examples of bands that have a not particularly "talented" vocalist(much of the pop today). Its a matter of what sounds good(and appeals to more people) in my opinion, i much prefer the tone of Jon's voice, coupled with the fact that he is a superior front man, is that not indicative of the better musician and singer?
