The Russians, and the Russians abroad, I can forgive as they know nothing better and only have media that makes Fox News seem unpatriotic. Medvedev cannot wipe his ass without asking Putin, 'How many sheets?' But some Western leftists actually believe the idiot Bush is more dangerous than the monster Putin. The US media's coverage of this story is also horrible. It's largely one-sided and virtually ignores the fact (which is reported, then forgotten) that Georgia invaded a region whose majority is ethnically Russian and which was de-facto independent until Georgia's president came and messed everything up. Nobody in the US is "cheering on" Russian troops. But anyone who's cheering on the (corrupt!) Georgian president is supporting a monster who killed 1500 South Ossetians before Russia stopped him.

Oops. I meant "ethnically Ossetian" i.e. not Georgian. I must also clarify that the Georgian people don't deserve what they're getting. Hopefully their president learns his lesson and stops initiating conflicts. And hopefully they kick him out of office as soon as they can. Furthermore, yes, Putin is corrupt and is certainly not good for his country, but it seems to be quite evident that Saakashvili's no good for his own country either.

What's your point? I'm well aware she's blind... Her being blind shouldn't have any effect on her voice. I felt she was off-key, and her back-up singers were too loud (Kind of drowned her out). I watched her in a practice video, and she was great, but I felt she didn't do that great in front of the whole audience. Don't get me wrong, I love Diana, but she just wasn't that great. (And it has nothing to do with her standing in one spot, as I understand she can't really run around a lot)

Well, I must say, for me, the perfomance wasn't the best, but the song was amazing and it brings a very important message...but as we can see, itit wasn't succesful (I'm talking about the war in South Ossetia).
But this is song contest, no politician contest, so I have to talk about the song:
