Obama met with Clinton at her home in Washington tonight June 5, to discuss the vice presidential slot. Barack Obama has now claimed victory in the race for the Democratic Party's nomination for the US Presidency. One down, one to go. He said he would "bring a new and better day to America".
He clinched the nomination on the final day of one of the closest and most expensive primary seasons ever. Yes, and there goes that word again "change". "Because of you tonight I can stand here and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States of America." Clinton w
asted no time in signalling her interest in joining his ticket as a potential vice president. V-day for Obama is a crushing defeat for Clinton's army of supporters.

I agree with you 100% I just hate that she has split the party like she has to get some kind of bargaining chip. I think she is afraid to show that she doesnt know what to do..even to Bill. Who will be the VP? I wish he could choose his cousin and confidant Odinga but he is not a US citizen. Odinga would help advise how to deal with the Islamic radicals to ensure he gets their votes and also could bring machetes to threaten ethnic cleansing if they don't win! Just like he did in Kenya after Obama visited him. I am so proud to have witnessed history in the making with this honorable and truly decent man winning the right to run for president of the United States.
