Good music like this disappeared because the pitiful younger Generation Y, aka. Millennials/Dingle Berries have an incessant need to whine & feel sorry for themselves for no apparent reason. They are attracted to singers of similar ilk.
Hence the birth of whiney little bitches like M&M, totally GAY boy bands or Crap Rappers (bouncing whining complaining pussys who parade about the stage as tuff guys who really only need hugs from mama or a nipple from Walmart to suck.

Humm gimme an example of " good " peacefull/chillin music that has gone out since 2005 that doesn't sound like something re-heated. Music is my life and right now it seems that i'm trapt with the old stuff. I surf the web for underground stuff and yet there's nothing that i can dig. Everything is either whinning about something
( emo/hardcore/rock/rap ), or making a show of statements(rap/RnB ) . where is the good old peacefull stuff has gone?

and Mad Caddies and The Toasters are great chill music, The Toasters have been around a while, but they're not too well known Phish is good for chilling, same with Jeff Buckley or Snow Patrol

The term emo started in the early 80's when a journalist didn't want to call a minor threat emotional so he dubbed it EMO. Thats when emo started. And it took on from there Rights of Spring to Sunny Day Real Estate to The Get UP Kids .... And it goes on. EMO streamed from hardcore. The best emo bands were from the 90s.

that's what I've been saying, it became short for Emotive Hardcore, which was a Hardcore Punk subgenre but, as no bands coined Emo anymore were ever Hardcore, it has died, and been bastardized beyond applicable reason
