Breed-specific legislation (BSL) is spreading like a cancer from one community to the next. Denver, Miami and the Canadian province of Ontario are forcing residents to hand over their beloved and innocent family members for unjustified euthanasia, else they must move from their homes...or stay to become criminals to protect the ones they love. Oklahoma, California, and other locales are currently considering similar breed specific bans and/or discrimination. In response, guardians of Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Chows, and more, have posted their feelings to the website, www.sorryagain.com, in protest of the slaughter of innocent dogs and the unconstitutional laws destroying their families. Here is just a sample of their posts...

i have a friend that lived in ottawa with her pitbull that she grew up with. Well her family (and the dog) went on vacation. during the time they were on vacation a law was passed that every pitbull type dog was to be put to death.
When they arrived home they were accused of smuggling in a dangerous dog and Mazie was instantly put to sleep without consent.
Their family was charged a fine of $2,500 dollars.
She moved and know lives hapilly with two lovely pitbulls in a more accepting area.

I get what your saying. It's just in my experince with pit-bulls they've always been aggresive. Infact at this point me and my family are working to get a local law enforced due to a neighbors Pit-bulls getting lose and agresively charging us. The law states any breed of pit-bull or mix is to be pinned up and when on a leash to be musseled. This law is to protect other people from being attacked like I was. And the person is to have 100,000 dollars US insurance per Dog. Just a little Info.

It's really the person looking after the dog that is responsible, not the dog itself. A few of my friends and family have pit bulls or boxers, and they're all very nice dogs. My grandfather got bitten by a pit bull after getting angry and kicking it but it was only on the outside of the skin. Guess what he did. He put the dog in a bag and threw it off a bridge. This was 24 years ago, mind you.

I just got a Baby AmStaff, and I think it's the sweetest natured dog I've been around my entire life, and i'm not a dog person.This dog is going to be spoiled beyond spoiled. She's a sweetie. It's how ya raise them.

Guys, I'm seriously crying. I had a Pitbull puppy. I named him Gemini. He was the sweetest, smartest, cutest & obedient dog I've ever seen. I live in an area in Rock Hill, SC where they basically forced me to get rid of it once they found out it was a Pitbull. They said either get rid of it or get evicted. I didn't want 2 give him away, but I got 3 lil 1s & it would b hard 4 me 2 find a home 4 us in 1 month. The best I did was find him a good home. The only breed they wouldn't allow is Pits.
