Brilliant! And yes he look stoned but I dont think he is as stoned as people say.
He is TOTALLY aware of feedback and other problems. At around 3:30 the crowd whistles and he does open his eyes and checks it out, then goes back into his song. I think he may be riffing and is just into the song. Yes there are some stumbles lyrically but he suffered from stage fright and tha
t can also account for the jumbled lyrics. Either way a glimpse at a troubadore who wrote some amazing songs

He wrote it.
One of the best singer/songwriters of all time and hardly anyone knows who he is. Threw it all away on drugs though. His first three albums (not including early blues recordigs) Tim Hardin 1,2 and 3 are brilliant.

The folk guitar performers from the 60s and 70s were the great. 2 of the most obscures of these were Tim Harding and Tim Buckley. Both were wonderful and both died tragically young of drug over doses. If you don't know who Tim Buckley is, type in Tim Buckley Song To The Siren. He performed this song on the last episode of the Monkees, The Frodis Caper.

Tim once slept on my couch after a concert he played at the University of Bath in 1975 or 76 - can't remember the exact date. He'd come down from London with his guitar and a friend and was caught out by missing the last train out that night. Next morning we drank pernod in the pub opposite my digs ...great singer, great writer, great times, great shame he died so young
