The hood was about the only origanal part left. Why spend $82,000 for a hood?
Yeah, there is a 360HP BMW engine under that hood, but it will never get used.
I'm guessing if you sell the left over parts out on ebay, you could get a good chunk of change back.

To all of you guys hating on this thing. Alpine does a one off show car pretty much every year. This is just a show piece to have fun with and promote their product. They're not selling this car so you won't be "forced" to buy one.
