| No matter what you do, you're going to have to do something with the people. They're lazy, and have character flaws. The best thing you could do is stop feeding them. When people get hungry, they get ambitious. We've spent how many billions on homeless shelters, free medical, social security disablity, adc, wic, the list goes on and on. It should be obvious that more government programs and money will not solve this so-called problem. |

| Alcohol and tobacco are so ingrained in our society that the government CAN'T outlaw them. Prohibition didn't work because people can't stop using a drug that is widely socially acceptable, but still incredibly dangerous. I think it's incorrect when people have the conviction not use drugs simply because they are illegal. Illegal drugs are illegal because they're not widely used and, get this, they're not taxed. Many of them carry risks that are very comparable to legal drugs. |
