I consider myself to be patriotic, but the sad truth of war is more than I can stand at times. There are always two sides to a coin. Thank God for songs like this to drive home the point that war is not a pretty sight and people do die. I love this song. Thanks for the video Vicki, you did an excelent job. PS, I told a friend of mine, that was in Nam,(doorgunner) about your vid, he loved it. All of your vids are very good.

Vickie do you know if the general he refers to is/was a real person or not? He mentions Gen. Hershie in Straight Brother. My older cousins told me about him, so I know who he was. That war was almost over when I was born. I respect and know alot of people that was over in Nam. What choice did they have? What choice do I have, but too respect them? They did what they were told, just like this song says.
