I love the story behind this song. Dave Stewart wrote this song about an incounter he had with Joe Walsh. He had just hooked up with Stevie Nicks who had broken up with Walsh the night before. The next morning, Walsh went over the Stevie's house, Stewart was still there and over hears Stevie say to Walsh....Don't Come Round Here No More. Dave suggested to Tom that he use the Alice in Wonderland theme in the video because Stevie had stayed up alnight doing blow.
