I thought the song's lyrics were rubbish but the performance was absolutely hilarious and they deserved the votes they got. I have a smile on my face everytime I hear it as it is so upbeat and catchy. Very Eurovision!!. Well done!!

Probably the best thing adults can learn in their whole existence is enjoying what is childhish and immediate, which often means a lot more than the fishy rhetoric of their proses and long-winded discourses. Mozart used to say that catchiness is the most important characteristic of music. So stop taking everything so seriously, stop taking this song seriously and enjoy it for what it is: an harmless, willingly silly, catchy, well coreographed childish song which puts in a good mood.

People criticize this song because it's silly, simple and childish ... so what? Who ever said that we are supposed to take ourselves so damn seriously all the time and that we always need love or social denounces songs? Have we lost our ability to simply have fun with something harmless but nicely done? Adults are immature, corny, kitsh and trashy all the time but in very crude ways, this might be trash but it's elegantly done.

There is nothing wrong with this song at all.
It is entertaining and energetic. Considering the incredible crap that currently dominates american popular culture, I cant imagine anyone passing judgment concerning the lyrics
of this or any other song.
When "baby got back", meaning "ass", was blasted all over the air waves, no one criticized the asinine and foolish repetitions that made up the song and so many others like it. I cant see why this particular song should be an exception.
