I believe this was a spoof of an anti-drink drive ad that was on tv around this time (late 70`s). I always say I`m not a fan of his sketches, but then I keep on thinking of ones I like! If I could ever work out how to put stuff on You Tube I`d share the one about the man in the fall-out shelter, which is absolutely stunning.

Oh my God! I saw this one only once, on the Dave Allen Show somewhere back in my childhood, and it has followed me through life. Now and then thinking of it as one of the best and funniest comic sketches. Now, today, I see it again, and I'm 38. I recon my age was about 8-12 when I first saw it, didn't know English back then. For me, seeing it today - no words, I'm totally in nirvana!
