| Ok so I just finished picking myself off the floor. What an amazing series. I am so glad I stumbled across this here. The performances were amazing. I loved how when he reached for her hand her voice seems to faulter as if by that one simple gesture he completely took her breath away. And then as she picked his hand up to kiss it, I love how his eyes seem to squint slightly as if he has to focus on the very sight of her. Such a beautiful scene. |

| I think that this show is the best of Richard Armitage! This and BBC's Pride and Pejudice with Colin Firth are so amazingly cool. does anyone think they are a bit like each other only about 50 years apart in the story? They rock!!! |

| p&p and n&s are both in the victorian period 1813/ 1854 but the industrialization of england and the rise of the working class as backdrop for the love story of mr thornton and margaret makes the latter a book of better substance. |
