ct the person he is interpreted by many to be: Gordon Freeman himself, and is tormented by the events that take place so much that he eventually snaps out of his phase and is motivated by overhearing combine soldier chatter to make his way up to the mammoth citadel structure and face off with Dr. Br
een himself in this twist of events to the Half-Life 2 storyline due to the main character's intrusion and a machinima homage to the films of the late, great director Alfred Hitchcock.
