Hey tennesseekid8, listen to your Dad, he knows what he is talking about. Listen to Traffic, Blind Faith, etc. rather than the stuff the other kids are listeing too, today. Winwood, Clapton, Duane Allman, and the like are great examples. The late-60's to mid-70's is some of the best music ever.

One thing I love about (please forgive this) jazz-based tunes like this is that when played live, it gives the musician freedom to play around with the arrangements and explore new licks he thought about AFTER the recording session over. This is a damn good piece.

Couldn't agree more with you secongbreakfast.Just because johnny mainstream listens to shitty music doesnt mean you have to. There are great bands in every genre that would blow your mind....but you don't know they exist. Great bands are out there, you just need to find them.
