| The Phillips branded DVD/HDD recorder have been alright. I could of went with Phillips but LG don't have a replacement warranty if the unit is faulty you'd have to send it away. When Phillips will just replace it Now the Phillips DVD/HDD recorder doesn't come with a Digital TV tuner |

| The new Direct tivo HD DVR isn't bad but I miss the actual Tivo. There's something generic about non-tivo dvr's. |

| I have a Panasonic DMR-EH75VS it has a 80GB DVR, a dvd recorder and even better a VCR its best investment i ever did |
