Ok I've had enough of these stupid comments and repeated conversations.
NO ONE knows who wrote House of the Rising Sun. No, it wasn't the animals nor bob dylan. It's much older than that. The Animals version is considered definitive and I myself consider it to be the best. Pink Floyd did not cover it. Thats a Floyd cover band called Fridged Pink. this song was av
ailable on a compilation album called "1 Love" which was released by an organization called War Child.

I, personally, prefer The Animals version. I find it the best. My Friend did a Wizard Rock version called "House of the Rising Snake". That ones really awesome! XD But I would say that.

bob dylan's one has a load of verses, i love this song and all the versions of it, i think its good that theres so many covers of it because its one of those songs that has been around for donkeys years and its good that each version is very different and each artist makes it there own.
