모음 - Mother sound" and "자음 - child sound" But other than that it is very intuitive way of explaining how to write Korean for beginners. I have also made videos to practice some tricky Korean pronunciations. Check out Everyday Korean.

well, mama sound or child sound or whatever, she doesnt know which ones are vowels and which ones are consonants... she keeps calling vowels consonants and vice versa

Philippseis, what a great video! My brother teaches English in Daegu. I am actually planning a visit in October from the US. I have the Hangul characters over my desk at work. Many many Americans have never seen Korean before. So it is a very good that now I know how to pronounce them. Tim

ladys and gentlemen the 3rd sound "ye" is not spelled "ye" "yay" but rather "eo" "eo" "eo" as in english "oh" "oh", she does not know how to write korean sounds in using english letters!
