"We shot the video with director Brian Thompson. He was the perfect match for the concept that we came up with and he did an amazing job. It takes place in a broken down future world where the journey of the main character mimics many themes in the song's lyrics. I originally wrote the lyrics describing the certain decay of the world around us. While more and more people pursue meaningless relationships and desire for material things, I've realized that we have "nothing left" in common. We are seperated by our intentions and the visual concept through the video makes an obvious point that we cannot hide these differences."

actually they play in drop C tuning
C tuning is C-F-A#-D#-G-C
Drop C is C-G-C-F-A-D though you do get the same tone when you play power chords in either tuning, for example in C tuning the power chord A -3 F#-3 C -1 sounds exactly the same as C-1 G-1 C-1 in drop C it's just played differently

as i lay dying i will admit is pretty damn good, better than alot of so called "christian metal" out there, but they cannot and will not ever compare with slayer, they are gods, as i lay dying you could maybe consider as a disciple (lol album reference), but no where near the groundbreaking brutality that is slayer

yeah if a certain kind of music is for posers then if we just decided to stop listening to it because you told us its bad wouldn't that make us posers? how about a different christian metal band? Impending Doom perhaps? XD AILD used to be pure christcore but i think they're changing to christian death metal/deathcore :D merging of two of my favorite genres, just get some melo in there and they're set for life XD

i like to think it is about how in a world with dicktaters, I.E., the man preaching about the infected girl, that flaws can lead to a tragedy. This is also true in the video, The Sound of Truth, where the dicktater finds out that he is infected, and is promptly exicuted.
