They still play this at gigs , i'm glad they havn't ditched their past work like so many bands seem to be doing in this genre, Lacuna Coil instantly spring to mind

I saw them headline Bloodstock last year, and they are still great live, but I agree the latest album is very American sounding, and I hope they got back to a more European sound on the next album

hey im american and you may not be i have never seen them live because they dont perform in america but i am more of a true fan then all of you there music should never get "worse" or whatever they proably have differt oppinions and i happen to think the heart of everything is a great song and album and they think so to judging by there myspace.

My American comment was aimed at Lacuna Coil , ie it's very 7 string bass heavy, a la KORN,it wasn't an attack on American people, but your music does tend to have adistinctive sound, it's a change in direction for them,
I bought WT new album yesterday , a bit late I know, but I hadn't heard positive things about it, these have all been wrong as far as i'm concerned, it's a cracking album, looking forward to seeing them at Donington on Sunday, I apologise if you were offended,

I'm not into Robert's voice, don't get me wrong I LOVE him as a songwriter. I love their style in this album though. My favorite albums are definately MOTHER EARTH and THE SILENT FORCE, but there are some gems on the new album as well... I'm not into some of the songs on Heart of Everything, more specifically the overly "mainstream" sounding ones but the less famous songs of that album are amazing, "Hand of Sorrow", "Heart of Everything" and "The Truth Beneath The Rose" to name a few.

I loved The Heart of Everything. IMO, a much better album than The Silent Force - I don't have the other two yet. TSF is still a lovely album though. Seen WT twice, but only festival sets, so mostly new songs. Still want to see a headline set. Robert is a horrible growler though, much as I love the man :p
