The playing isn't terrible, and I don't think it's the intonation that you're thinking is awful in the brass section, there's a trumpet player who is early during a very exposed part of the piece.

My band takes this much slower, with a lot more rubato. I think it creates a better affect, but that's just me. Barring that, this is a good recording. Maybe a few issues, but basically pretty nice.
