This is actually not as gory as Dead Alive, but still funny as hell. I didn't like the first half, but the second part is great. It is so intentionally stupid and ridiculous that it's almost surrealistic. The best trash movie of them all. Troma should be ashamed.

First of all, it's a comedy, so it's supposed to be stupid and ridiculous. Secondly, he made it with no real funding, he basically paid for it out of his wages from working in an office, and it still features some exciting action. It cost maybe a few thousand NZ dollars to make, whereas they spent $300 million US on the LotR series. If you gave Steven Spielberg the same budget as Pete Jackson had for Bad Taste, he wouldn't have been able to make a film as good as this.

This film is cult man, low budget is too much for this film, and the camera could only make 30 sec of film in one piece. So i respect this thing i think its great, and if you find the brutality disgusting, watch the cut version!
