the first time i heard this song i was about six years old my aunt was going to America on the way to the airport this song came on the car radio and i just fell in love with it ever since I'm now twenty six and every time i hear it that whole day i can remember as if it was yesterday.

You hear about so many artist as legends but one who you rarely hear about is Maurice White. Not only as a lengendary performer but a iconic producer and songwriter. The MS might have taken away from his stage presence but his presence is still there espeicially when you see a EWF performace. By the way, if t you like this song, do yourself a favor and listen to "Living in our our time". He and Phillip Bailey's vocals are impeciable.

Maurice White is a musical and lyrical genius. Any Earth, Wind, and Fire fan knows that, though. This song was grossly underrated, but that didn't make it any less beautiful. 'Rice's voice(I call him that lovingly and respectfully)is tremendously powerful and moving. Disease or no disease, it can't take the genius and talent from him. Lovely song and an equally lovely video. Some masters just can't be buried.

This is a powerful song. I first heard in my college days back at N.C A&T State in Greensboro, NC. My best boy was 'obsessed' with Earth, Wind, & Fire(EWF). Yes, EWF are VERY good, BUT this song from Maurice White touched my life, in that I missed going after my first love.... thankfully, I got meet, lead to The Lord Jesus, and married her... we celebrated 18 years, with four(4)daughter, and ministry of the gospel of Christ, on December 22 this year.... God Get The Glory!!!

There are songs that move me and there are songs that make me cry,this song goes beyond any emotion or fulfillment I feel when I listen to it,the way Maurice sings this song is just beautiful yet it has a sadness to it,the lyrics are mesmerising and his voice is like an angel sent to stimulate and intensify every fibre of my being ( and Im a man!!!!!!!....go figure)......it makes me think of the loss Ive had in my life.....yet makes me happy with everything I have......SIMPLY THE BEST

They just don't make music like this anymore. This reminds me of the days when love was something you could touch, when women were portrayed as flowers to be cherished. Look how beautiful and sensuous these women are and they are not naked or wearing revealing costumes...I miss those days.
