| i think climb the everest with oxygen to the normal routes haven't alpinist merit, because the mountain is full ropes and only the people walk up, especially commercial expeditions installing camps and ropes to his customers and ensure the business, no matter life people up there. |

| Obviously Everest is not easy it the tallest mountain in the world it takes all your strength to move. It way more difficult then anything you can imagine. So don't say stuff if you've never done research or climbed before. |

| 1 death for every 10 successful attempts?..Where do you get that statistic?..maybe if you factor in the people who died in the first 40-50 years of it`s being climbed the math comes out to that but in recent years Everest is a joke with roped routes,ladders,pre-cooked foods and prepared camps..I think what like a couple of hundred people have climbed it this year alone??? |

| Annapurna has a worst average than K2. One death every 2 summits. But statistics could lie . Look what happened on K2 this week. It happened to be a lot of people at the wrong place at the wrong moment. It could have happened on any other big mountain. |

| yassnourson, of course you'd wear trainers and just run up. Let me point out that there is about 30% less pressure at 3000 mtrs, so less available oxygen, and it gets worse as you go up. |
