Please don't preach to me as to what you think is good music. Anyone who listens to something because of it's popularity and how trendy it is obviously does not have good taste in music. That being said, it's just as rude to assume that people only like a song for it's popularity. Come on, I know that at least half of the people you're talking about at the moment love this song because of it's message, not because the number of fans.
