It sucks at any age. But no one can deny that it is worse to go bald at such a young age when you are still young and single. Forty is up there man, but hopefully at that age you have a family and don't care so much about your looks....and sorry but 40 is middle aged, it's not ancient but it's getting up there, face it man.

The options are expensive and don't always work either. vitamins Saw Palmetoand and epilobium, Propicia (finateride is cheaper) , minoxidil, hair peices. I've tried them all!

I can relate to you Dave. I'm 20 and I feel like I'm getting balder by the day. What you said about noticing other men's baldness is so true. If only my hairdresser had shut up the day she told me I was getting scarce on hair...
