I was born in 1984, but went through a major New Romantic phase when I was 15/16, so even though I don't remember it fromn the 1st time around I still appriciate this video! Thanks for posting!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE what you've done!!! I saw this about a month ago, but it's been in my head every time I've heard the song. This truly illustrates new romantic pop culture. I see your video as the official, the other is good but it beats me what the greater majority of it had to do with the 80's...They missed the point but you didn't well done!

A brilliant montage. Pure Memory Lane. These are the real faces who created the Blitz scene (Strange, Bowen, Linard, Julia, Holah, Pinkie, though far too much of Marilyn), these are the real dances (your rare second clip captures the Blitz Jive, seen again at 2:27) and you rightly don't show Leigh Bowery anywhere near the place, despite the dumb write-up on Wikipedia clearly penned by people who were never near the most significant clubnight in British pop culture.

... The opening footage comes from LWT's 20th-Century Box docu shot at Spandau Ballet's gig at the Scala cinema, May 1980. Yup, the Blitz dance scene was roaring long before the dozy record industry even knew about it. And clearly poor ole Calvin Harris never will!
