(Part 1)Homosexuality is a Sin because God said so. It's really as simple as that. God tells us Lying is bad and is a Sin. God tells us Stealing is bas and is a Sin. We accept these into our moral code. However, if God tells us Homosexuality is a Sin, why do we suddenly pull a 180 and try to justify it? Humans attempting to justify their Sin won't help them in the final judgment.

(Part 2)Don't try to justify the Sin in the world. The only way to escape from your Sin is through Jesus Christ. The Son of God came to our world to redeem us. We were beyond saving, to be condemned to Hell for eternity. But God so loved the world that he sent his only Son to die on the cross to cleanse us from all our Sin.

Let's get real here mycatistigger. I think the reason you don't like christians is because they told you about your sins... or perhaps, your gay lifestyle. Whimpy people have the tendency to deny their sins and not having the gut to face the truth.... and only sorry when they get caught.

because it is not as God ordained it. He created man and he created woman. they are meant for each other and also meant to be fruitful and multiply, hence being able to have children. without such a marriage, even you would not exist today. This is what I believe as well as many other Christians. if you are to debate with reason, and ask questions as to why I believe what I do, i suggest that you be civil and at least not attack us by using name-calling. it only demeans your argument.

Tsuraga - Homosexuality is a sin because God says so. He says it is an abomination. He also says eating lobsters is an abomination. Why do you stick to one outdated statement and not the other? Is it just pandering to your own personal bigotry? melchyzedek - The root of the problem is I'm being told about my sins? My gay lifestyle? I don't have the 'guts to face the truth?' im straight and a christian, just clearing the air. Would a homosexual go to heaven even though they are gay? What difference is there between homosexuality and stealing, besides god destroying a town cause of its homosexuality and not the other w/ stealing. I've read the bible and I know the terrirble things your god threanens anyone who sleeps with the same sex, (or disagrees with their parents or easts lobsters) I'm asking WHY god is so anti homosexuality. It is widely accepted that murder is wrong. Why do people question some of the rules God put in place, and not the others? God said murder is a sin, and we accept that into our morals. Yet when the very same God tells us Homosexuality is a sin, do we have any right to reject that? We are all tempted with sin. And we all fall to Sin. It is only because of what Jesus had done for us, can we be forgiven and deemed holy. God does not condemn sinners, but forgives all that come to him.

I don't think Christianity is the only religion who thinks it as a sin !! If you look some of those middle east countries..it is considered as a crime and those caught are sometimes even killed !! At least in Christian community lots of congregations are praying for those people and treated them as normal person who need Jesus as other sinners to redeem them from their sins !!

I dont think God is against homosexuality more as he is against any other sin !! In my opinion i dont think there is anything in homosexual activities which makes it more sinful than ther sin !! But as a human beings, we are not completed without God !! In fact a person is born sin and need the grace of God to enter the kingdom of God !! The fact that a person is not gay doesn't make him any more worthy or righteous in the eyes of God !! We are all sinners who need God !!

God has nothing to do with my morals. Thankfully. If you look at the bible he is an incredably vindictive and violent murderer. Our morals have improved the further away fromt he biblical God we have come.
Tsuraga - yes islam is just as bigoted as Christianity regarding gay people. I don't think this speaks well of either. If all morality eminates from your god are those without access to scripture unable to have ethics? How then do you explain the ancient greek culture?
