Not that I like this Smiths song (they have so many good songs, but not so much this one) BUT WTF??? This is cheap. Added a "funky drummer" inspired beat, a simple string arrangement and that's about it.

I'm sorry, but nothing can touch the smiths. very few covers do their songs justice, and this is just not one of them. Last year on his tour Morrissey asked if anyone in the crowd liked Mark Ronson's version, to which the crowd replied with a massive collective 'NO!'
