Science don't lie!!! Rottioes are quite strong. I had a rottie, a pittbull & an alsatian. The rottie was quite awesome - fearless & very protective. The pitt is also strong while the alsatian was intelligent. I go with the rott when I need reliable, dependable & efficient securty. All were trained by a highly skilled dog trainer.

nahh, should have tried it with the neopolitan mastiff, the strongest bite of canines,, U cant compare a rottweiler (40-70kg) with a neomale at 90 kilo, (have seen one above 110 kg.) with a head 1,1/3 bigger.. Dont believe me, try checking out how nervous Ceasar Milan was in one programe, were he had to tackle a womans problem with her small neo barking by the fence.. He's terified of the dog..

In a fight, a pitbull will definitely win a german shepherd any time. It (pitbull) has got everything going for it - pain tolerance, biteforce & perseverance. It also has a very strong jaw. The only thing that stopped my pit bull in a fight was a very cold water splash as i have tried beating it off with belt, wood etc to let go but those never succeeded. It has a very high pain treshold.

But they have different methods if you like. The rotty or similar "scary" dogs will bite and not let go, shake their heads etc. Bite force V damage inflicted would be a whole other ball game.

My GS beat a pit that came in OUR yard once and hes very dominant. I think a fight owuld depend on circumstances such as territory, training, and instict. If a dog is in ANOTHER dogs territory most like the dog who owns the territory will win because he iwll fight to the death. if u mean a pit/GS we raised together as pups when their adults id bet on the GS mainly cuz i know they are very dominant. Just depends how u raise/train them. Pits are fighters but i never seen one as an alhpa male.

And also dude even my cusions labrador beat up a pitbull. Labs are suposed to be less agressive dogs yet his beat a pit. Not all pits are good fighters but they have potential to be the best. Dont get me wrong pits are the #1 fighting dogs today BUT only cuz they were trained to fight. Train any large breed dog to fight and hell be safe for the rest of his life from other dogs. Its all about training.
