"The Chase" New CGI Effects and Murray Gold Music

Video Description:
Three short clips of "The Chase" featuring new CGI effects plus the existing score replaced with music by Murray Gold.
This started out with just the "kaleidoscope" TARDIS effect being removed and it snowballed from there. It's not perfect and I had problems where dialogue was spoken over the existing music score but I had fun. The extra level of the Dalek ship is probably a bit OTT... I don't think anything can m
ake that cardboard Dalek look acceptable!

This is fantastic! The Chase itself a pretty lame, plotless, episodic story (and I say this as a fan of a lot of the earlier stories), but you've managed to bring a lot more drama into it with these edits - congratulations!

I didn't used to have a particularly high opinion of The Chase, until I started watching Doctor Who in order from the beginning and my view totally changed. The show had more or less alternated between a future story, then a historical since the start, so when The Chase came along with its Daleks, time machine pursuit, comedy moments, Beatles cameo, Mechanoids and everything else crammed in, it's a unique extravaganza. It's just a shame the budget couldn't realise it all properly.

Fricking awesome. The SFX have just the right grainy quality to blend in comfortably and the time tunnel chase adds so much to the story. It's what the Chase always needed. Where can I get a copy with your SFX added?
