http://jtylerhelms.com (Unofficial) - WARNING: This will potentially spoil the end of the movie if you haven't seen it - Upon listening to the new Arcade Fire album, the last song in particular evoked an intense spaghetti western scenerio in my mind. I created a music video for the song with edited clips from Sergio Leone's "Once Upon a Time in the West"... my favorite western.

that was pretty dope. but im sorry, i gotta say this (AND I SAY THIS RESPECTIVELY!)...how is this "genius" or "brilliant"? i love sergio leone and the arcade fire, but why are the hardcore fans of the arcade fire so quick to call anything attached to their name "BRILLIANT! IT'S BRILLIANT I TELL YOU!" how complicated is your circulatory system? meshing the two together was a cool idea. but thats it. just cool. not a pinch of picasso in this mother fucker. sorry, but i HAD to say that...

the "it's brilliant!" comments are more in tuned with how much one likes this YT clip, i think. You say it's pretty dope, but that doesn't pack the same 'oomph' or intensity as "omg that was fucking awesome and brilliant." Also, the creativity lies in the editing and the fact that jthelms *did* think to put two and two together before anyone else did ... kinda like duchamp or rauschenberg, if you want to use the artist analogy
