How to make your very own old snake outfit! What you need: One black Bin Liner, and scissors to cut out an eyepatch. 2 sticky notes, one to cut a circle out of and colour in red. (Place that on the eyepatch) and a second to help convey his old..ness. One Sticky White Label, fashioned to look like
a moustache, place above upper lip. Blue wrapping paper to form a bandana (Infinate ammo). Completely Un-Stealthy clothes. Complete! Masterpiece!

raiden takes on about 8 gekkos in one cutscene; in one part of the game, snake is running thru a market place and has to avoid 3 of them or they shoot him to shit.
who is more of a pussy? and raiden no longer uses guns. and kicks 30+ asses with NO ARMS. you be the judge.

Look at this way: Snake is freakin' old. He has to save the world while aging rapidly, aware of the fact that he'll die in 6 months and become a WMD in 3 months. He's basically weak all over and shouldn't even be standing on his feet under his condition. Raiden is a cyborg who can do superhuman things and get shot and STILL stand up like nothing happened. Who's the pussy now?

Well, I wanted to leave out the fact that he's crying over his kid who he thought was dead and felt that his life was in ruin, and as such he decided to cry over it, but I guess I'll need to use that arguement as well.
Snake's a beast. Raiden's just upgraded.

so... snake is the same as in MGS? nuh. he's upgraded. i just thought raiden's character always had more appeal. in MGS2 it's never explained why it is that he doesn't love rose... and i always thought that mysticism had more appeal and depth than snake's story. raiden's is entirely a plausible on
e (until mgs4, excluding his upgrades) so raiden creates a sense of empathy; snake just feels like a video game character.
