No, meshuggah is not only known in metal. I've met a lot of people, mostly musicians, that doesnt listen to metal other then meshuggah. I had a jazz teacher in guitar a couple of years ago that listened to meshuggah, cus he liked the way they use rythms and the way they excel in they're musicstyle. Meshuggah are talented, no doubt about it, it's just you who are ignorant enough not too se it.

Man, I don't actually need drugs when i have meshuggah on my ipod... they actually take you somewhere else. And on the Haake vs Portnoy argument, Haake is way more economical with his playing. I'm really sick of Portnoy's *use all my fills in one song* approach. Not saying that Haake can't do stuff Portnoy does, he just preserves it for when it's necessary, which is a much more disciplined style. In other words, Haake is more disciplined than Portnoy.

sorry i just have to dispel another faggot kid's rantings. yes you fireball. if you pay close attention, i never said haake was better, you know why...cuz if i were to sit here bitching and moaning about it for days and did prove he was what would i stand to gain...NOTHING. i simply pointed out that Portnoy can't reach half his kit half the time, which in my book makes him a contender for douchebag drummer of the decade.
