If Robinson was a goalie for a South American team, there would have to be extra security around him. He might even have to fear for his life. In a 1994 World Cup match between Colombia and the U.S., a Colombian defender, Andres Escobar, scored an own goal which helped win the match for the U.S.
When he got back to Colombia, a fan was so upset over his own goal, he decided to kill him--literally. Escobar was murdered because of an own goal--how unfortunate!
