I agree. The OS I'm developing doesn't pick everything up though. Gotta look over Ubuntus source. But Ubuntu just said "Ah, you have that kind of hardware, oh, and that printer. I'll configure it for you... See, done!" and ready to use. Install, reboot, and enjoy, no hassle with networking or drivers or anything...

"Were everything is possible" Exept running 90% of the software on the market, don't use that poor excuse for a emulator Wine as your way out becouse that thing is so buggy that it takes a game that plays on 200fps on a windows box and turns it into a 20fps clusterF***. Also dont expect to have an easy time installing stuff on Linux becouse just to install one package it could take HOURS of it stuffing up agian and again and again!

phantom00strike is an idolt. You has never even used Linux. Programs don't take hours to install more like minutes. Wine is not buggy. Your a fool who has not done his research if you say there is no software for linux.

seconds, it takes mare seconds to install package, not minutes. it takes less than 15 min to download and install 300 packages after fresh install.
