they would never get rid of shads. they are like family. but i do agree. his vocals were best during waking the fallen and then slowly just started sounding ehh... rock music. not A7X music. This song is what avenged sevenfold is all about. not almost easy or afterlife / = oh well. i will always support them.

my absolute fav band, but heres what i like so much about the old a7x, even in city of evil, their songs had very deep meanings and several of them are stories from the bible, and not to mention the amazing drumming and guitar work. their new self-titled album lacks mostly everything that IS a7x.
when i listen to any of the albums from sounding the seventh trumpet to city of evil, i get inspired as a drummer to be the best drummer i can be. with their new album, i didnt get that feeling.

well i personally think that hipto13 is wrong no offence but they shouldnt change M.shadows only 'cause he doesnt scream no more. I think that he would of still done it if he could but he cant because he popped a blood visel on his neck which prevents him from doing screamo. Other than that i still think M.shadows is a great vocalist! They're so fucking kool! i loce them so much! :)

the poppin of his blood vessel in his throat doesn't stop him screaming. it was the plan for a7x ever since they formed they sed they wanted to make an album with pure screaming (sounding the seventh trumpet) then they wanted to mix singin and screamin (waking the fallen) then they just wanted to sing (city of evil and avenged sevenfold self titled album).

The fact that he popped a fucking blood vessel prooves that he didnt know what the fuck he was doing. That to me is a bad vocalist. But he's grown since then and has gotten better. Still not my favorite frontman though.

This is a pretty good mix if you ask me. I personally hate doing live sound gigs. It's very difficult to mix properly to achieve a good overall sound.
