nirvana was,to me, the absolute best gruge band. though they were original and distinguishable from other grunge bands, they still had the "grunge sound" that the earlier bands did. pearl jam, on the other hand, didnt even sound like grunge to me. i prefer temple of the dog with eddie vedder more because it sounded more like grunge. i think pearl jam had more of a postgrunge sound, but were marketed as grunge. plus they are known for moving away from grunge after it started to "die".ps,u=asshole

Smells like teen spirit though tedious and overplayed to f*cking death, is a good song, Im not disputing that. What im saying is, Nirvana had better songs and should be remembered for a lot more than smells like teen spirit and a smackhead frontman. I suppose you like alice in chains aswell. There's a Smackhead fronting them too. you utter pr*ck!
