No... simply the best defence against a punch in "da face" is using the forehead. The forehead is the strongest part in our body (not counting the dick of course) and it is used to break other guys hand when they hit it. The gloves in boxing are to protect the puncher... not to make ther puncher stronger :P

i'm sure it will, i had a crappy 11.5 inch tv (like 10 years old) and the xbox360 worked fine on it, i've never tried the ps3 with it but can't be all that much difference between them.. besides, if you can afford a ps3 maybe you could get 100 £ (or the equivalent depending on where you are) for a cheap but nice lcd tv
