| Interesting, thanks for posting this. Since people think in charicatures, and cultural landmarks lag, considerably, behind the march of time, I think its true that most northern people and urbanites generally don't understand the south today. Fred Reed makes a point that today's south is much more integrated than the north. Probably true. And organizations of all kinds thrive more on the problems for which they were founded than solutions, which would threaten their existence. |

| I did subscribe to SA. Thanks go to you for introducing me to him. I'd say it should be a given that no one should agree with the institution of slavery. Perhaps another time we could talk about the tendencies of organizations to subvert the purposes for which they were founded, and how one determines which still have value and which ought to be abolished. I'll just say that until I saw this video, it has been a long time since I've thought either good or ill of the NAACP. |
