Barlow is awesome...however, i thought Tim "Ripper" Owens did an outstanding job on the "Framing Armageddon" album. It seems strange to say this but Barlow has some big shoes to fill.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Iced Earth but I love this song and I agree with everyone who says Barlow is a damn good vocalist, but I also like Tim Owens.

After 9/11 he left the band to become a police officer so he could help out citizens after he couldn't help anyone out on said day. So from his point of view he is doing way more as a cop. Also he is back with them for their new album Something Wicked PT2.
